Greetings! Did you know that daily stretching is just as important as a regular exercise routine? As you age, your muscles become weaker - atrophy. You've probably heard it said that if you don't use "them", you lose "them". So, incorporating daily stretching and regular exercise helps to slow the process of muscle loss and weakness. Stretching increases range of motion; improves flexibility; helps prevent injury; tones muscles; and more. In this video, 8 stretches are demonstrated. However, you are advised to consult with your physician or professional healthcare provider before engaging in these or any other exercises.
